Signal Hill
Signal Hill is a 4-piece instrumental post-rock band with members located in Los Angeles, New York and London. The band emerged in the fall of 2004 in Los Angeles and has been active in the indie rock/emo/post rock scenes ever since.
"The EPs (Expanded and Remastered)" (July 9, 2021 Better Looking Records) revisits Signal Hills first two EPs combining them into one album along with special exclusive bonus tracks, including an instrumental cover of "The Radiator", a classic indie pop song by the band Ida.
Signal Hill's sound explores their love of indie rock, instrumental post-rock, electronic music and jazz. Despite the different geographies, Signal Hill has released three full length LPs, two EPs, one remix album and multiple singles/collaborative releases. The band has shared the stage with various acts such as All India Radio, This Will Destroy You, El Ten Eleven, Caspian and many more.
Signal Hill has licensed their music for various sync uses and has a song sampled in the Benny Benassi feat. John Legend track "Dance The Pain Away" (Ultra Records).
Kevin Dye (of the band Gates) provided mediculously updated mixes to many songs on "The EPs (Expanded and Remastered)" which also includes original mixes by Patrick Murphy (Veneklassen Studios). All tracks were remastered by the award winning mastering engineer Dax Liniere at Puzzle Factory Sound Studios (London, UK).
Signal Hill is writing and recording new songs and will be releasing a new album on Better Looking Records in 2022!
